2. Software Development & Products (Custom and Off-the-Shelf)

A partial refund may be considered only if the project is cancelled by the client before any substantial development work has commenced, after deducting costs incurred for initial planning, setup, and consulting (typically 25% of the total project cost or the first milestone payment, whichever is greater).

Off-the-Shelf Software/SaaS Subscription

Full Refund (Limited Time)

Full refund available within 7 days of purchase only if the software or service has not been accessed or used (e.g., no license key activation, no login activity). No refund will be provided after 7 days or if the software has been utilized.

Maintenance & Support Services

No Refund

Fees for completed maintenance, support hours, or active subscription periods are non-refundable.


 

3. Digital Marketing Services (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content)

Fees for initial strategy, audit, and setup are for the labor and expertise involved and are non-refundable once the work is delivered or the campaign is launched.

Ongoing Monthly Services

Prorated/Partial Refund (Limited)

If the service is terminated by the client mid-month, a refund will not be provided for the current month. If the client terminates the service before the next billing cycle, they will not be billed for the upcoming period. No refunds are given based on performance (e.g., rankings, conversions) as results are dependent on external factors (e.g., search engine algorithms, market competition).

Domain or Ad Spend

Pass-Through Costs

Costs paid directly to third parties (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, domain registrars, hosting providers) are non-refundable by JanakiBhuvi Tech Labs Private Limited.


 

4. Designing Services (Web Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX)

No refund is provided once the final design files are approved and delivered. A partial refund may be considered if the client terminates the project after the initial concept/first draft but before the final delivery, subject to deduction for the work completed up to that point (usually based on the hourly rate or agreed-upon milestone payment).

Pre-made Templates/Assets

No Refund

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales for design templates, stock graphics, or pre-made assets are final and non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.


 

5. Process for Requesting a Refund

 

  1. Submit Request: The client must submit a formal refund request via email to finance@jbtechlabs.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Invoice Number/Service Name]”.

  2. Provide Details: The request must include the reason for the refund, the date of purchase, and the proof of payment.

  3. Review: JanakiBhuvi Tech Labs Private Limited will review the request within 10 business days.

  4. Processing: If approved, the refund will be processed within 15-30 business days of approval. Processing times may vary depending on the client’s bank or payment processor.


 

6. Exceptions (Grounds for Full Refund)

 

A full refund may be granted in the rare event of:

  • Double Payment: An accidental duplicate charge by JanakiBhuvi Tech Labs Private Limited for the same services.

This policy is subject to change at the discretion of JanakiBhuvi Tech Labs Private Limited. The version of the policy active at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.
